In our meeting with the patient, we examine them to determine whether or not the hernia is work-related. We then determine where the liability for the injury lies – with the employer or the employee. If the patient is diagnosed with a hernia, surgery can be scheduled and performed within 24 hours, if needed, even in non-emergency situations.
